Police ordered to reopen Enugu assembly by court

Enugu State House Assembly
complex has been reopened by police
following the orders of the Enugu Federal
High Court, Punch reported.
The complex was under lock down
following the planned impeachment of
Governor Sullivan Chime. The House then was thrown into a crisis
as seven lawmakers, who were opposed to
the planned impeachment decide to
suspend speaker, Eugene Odoh and
elected Chinedo Nwamba.
In the opening of the House, the court also
ordered that the speaker and 14
lawmakers to be allowed to access the
legislative complex.
