Police from the Cross River
State Command have arrested a cultist
in connection with the murder of a 14-
year-old boy who refused to join the
association, Sun News Online reports.
The suspect, identified only as Ita,
allegedly attempted to lure the victim,
David Okon, into the Skylo cult group in
Ikot Ekpo, 8 Miles Calabar.
Henry Fadairo, State Police
Commissioner, confirmed the
development and said the group
allegedly chased down the boy on the
night of February 4 before proceeding to
stab him to death.
In another development, members of the
Columbo Boys cult group have been
arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery
Squad following allegations of armed
robbery.
Fadairo noted that members of the
Columbo Boys have also been implicated
in killings in the area while attempting
to initiate innocent school children into
their association.
