Twitter, Jokes on US president.

The instant President Trumps' Twitter account was deleted on Thursday, the nation of Twitter noticed and started tweeting about it. It was gone for 11 minutes. Twitter  at instant said  that it was taken down accidently. The company  later admitted  that the account was actually taken offline by a rogue customer support employee on the person's last day of work. Earlier today Twitter said it had implemented "safe measures" to prevent it from happening again. "We take this seriously and our teams are on it,"  twitter tweeted. As you might expect, the public reaction to @realDonalTrump's brief disappearance ranged from applause to outrage. And because this is the internet, there were plenty of jokes. One joke was pointed at Twitter's COO, Anthony Noto, who rose to fame and fortune at Goldman Sachs before joining as Twitter's chief of finance a few years ago. Ex-Twitter worker who deactivated Trump account: 'Get a lawyer'

Service was restored in 11 minutes. On Friday, The New Yor Times  reported  that the worker was a hired contractor. The outage of Trump tweets was met with celebration and disgust from either side of the partisan divide. The legislation states that unauthorized use of a "protected" computer system is against the law. The definit...

Twitter employee deactivated Trump’s account

Twitter announced Thursday evening that an employee, on his or her last day of work at the company, deactivated President Donald Trump’s notorious Twitter account. The president's account was only absent for 11 minutes before it was restored. In a series of its own tweets, the company said: "We are conducting a full internal review." Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review.  https://t.co/mlarOgiaRF — Twitter Government (@TwitterGov)  November 3, 2017 The company did not elaborate as to what steps had or would be taken. As of this writing, the president has not commented directly on the incident. His most recent tweet, authored at approximately 9:45pm ET on Thursday,  promotes  a Friday morning television interview. Trump’s use of the social media platform has been controversial, to say the least...
