Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are expected to be two of the fastest Android handsets when they are revealed early next year. Not only that, but the South Korean manufacturer’s agreement with Qualcomm will protect that position from competing smartphones.
The S9 family will have access to Qualcomm’s to-be-announced SnapDragon 845 processor (potentially alongside the Adreno 630 GPU). The 845 is expected to deliver performance gains of up to twenty-five percent over the current 835.
