Savour the season without breaking the bank

The year finally winds up in some couple of days and the desire not to merry can be near impossible, so soon will be temptation to spend, spend, spend.
Evidently, spending during this season can be quite demanding with huge demands from shopping for personal and family needs to travelling expenses (if need be). While cautious spending is crucial at this period, the need to savour the season is also satisfying especially if it’s your only time to celebrate with close and extended family members.
One major way to save money is by shopping early, it is a known fact that for every day that nears the yuletide, prices soars due to high demand of goods. However, you can exonerate yourself from high pricing and other last minute shopping ills of the period by shopping early. Shopping early is not only about being sure you’ve got everything you need; it’s also about getting the most for your money on items that store well.
While you shop early, also ensure you buy in bulk; this might seem expensive but when the festivities commences you will appreciate bulk buying because you will have plenty to last you through the holidays, and you’ll discover you have paid less than you would for smaller quantities.
A major re-occurrence of the season is feeding friend and families when they visit; how you go about this is really important because you must have prepared them special meals which usually expensive. Hence, the need to avoid food wastage is very important because for every food wasted it is a penny gone and can never be regained. It is advisable you prepare what you and your guest can exhaust and when you have left over’s it is advised you preserve effectively.
The season is also a period to merry with friends and families, however, this does not come cheap but  you can do this is in a less expensive way by cutting cost to the minimum through preparing homemade foods which are far cheaper and more nutritious than pre-packaged foods, the same applies to drinks.
The yuletide hardly comes cheap but how you go about it is very important, while you celebrate with your friends remember you can merry and save simultaneously by exploring alternative cheaper ways of spending.

Google Authenticator, a formidable layer of protection to your account.

Google Authenticator is a free security app that can protect your accounts against password theft. It's easy to set up and can be used in a process called two-factor authentication (2FA) offered on popular social media services like Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.  The app ( iOS / Android ) generates a random code used to verify your identity when you're logging into various services. The code can technically be sent to your phone via text message every time— but the Google Authenticator app provides an extra level of security.  SMS-based 2FA has a  known security flaw , and any devoted hacker can attempt to  socially engineer  an attack against your phone company. The Google Authenticator app eliminates the possibility of an SMS-based attack  using algorithms  to generate the codes on your phone. Here's how to set it up: 1. Download Google Authenticator from either the Apple App Store or the Android Google Play store. It's free. 2. Nex...

Are You Treating Your Kids Like Your Career?

And, we see this all the time. Hey,listen I've heard evidence of this phenomenon at the hairdresser, nail salon, at high school softball games, or at the grocery store. Mothers move in closer to each other and start to talk to one other very seriously and very competitively about their kids' achievements, successes, activities but certainly not about their disappointments, feelings, or emotional concerns. Nope, those topics are reserved for the night when those parents are alone with both the darkness of the night and their concerns. Now these are kids they are talking about, not careers. I'll tell you though that it sounds a whole lot like they are talking about jobs and job advancement. And, these kids who are their current careers, in my opinion, are at risk to become highly anxious and stressed as they struggle not to let their parents down. Don't kid yourself parents — your kids are desperately afraid of failing you. Want to figure out if your child has beco...
