Some people have no space for social drama in their lives, and that's their choice but there are others who might feel lost and lonely when they don’t have a friend circle.
It is always interesting to interact with people, discover their likes and dislikes and make friends with a like-minded few. There may be times when we don’t have friends, for instance when we locate to a new city and that could be a bit difficult to deal with.
Keeping that in mind, below is a list of few things you can do to stay happy even when you have zero friends:
1. Indulge yourself in a hobby.
Find what it is that makes you happy- painting, yoga, hiking, gardening or horse riding and indulge yourself into it.
It will not only consume your spare time but will also infuse positivity and happiness into your life. Remember, nothing gives you the kind of glow like happiness does.
2. Get fit.
A morning jog or a cardio session at the gym in the evening will surely make you active and fitter. It will not only add a routine to your life but will also get you in shape.
3. Travel.
I think we all need an excuse to book a ticket, pack our bags and take off.
What better way to use our time than exploring the places that have always been on our bucket list. Take someone along or just go solo tripping, but just pack your bags and leave and get lost in some beautiful place for you will discover a new YOU when you return.
4. Live a better lifestyle.
A morning yoga session or a few minutes of meditation just before sleep can help to relax your mind and muscles from all the tension that built up during the day.
Start taking care of yourself - eat healthier, exercise and sleep better and it will eventually show results in your work and relationships.
5. Work on yourself.
I think the best project we will ever work on is ourselves.
Whether it is attending that art of living sessions or bettering our communication skills or learning to cook, do it for yourself. It will not only give you a sense of confidence but will also help you to tackle a lot of day-to-day stress better.
6. Follow your passions.
Has your guitar been lying in the attic since long? It’s time take it out and get your hands on it.
You can always go back to your passions, for which you couldn’t take out time, since school or college.
7. Going Solo.
You don't need a company to enjoy most things in life when you have solitude. Catch a movie, have a lavish dinner, drink a bottle of wine, take a trip.
You just need to stop feeling apprehensive and needy about finding someone to do these amazing things with and you'll realise you are really enough.
